MusicMakers has been providing the Music “Special” to this very popular private Kindergarten program since 2004. Our Kindergarten curriculum “Kindergarten Rocks!” is a mix of fun songs appropriate to this age group, learning solfeggio singing and sight-reading skills; kinesthetic learning — using the gross motor skills first to learn rhythm, dancing, singing a LOT, and preparing for two annual productions per year. Paula Penna, expert early childhood music instructor, leads this weekly 30-minute class.
In addition, MusicMakers has provided short-term educational programs in music and etiquette to Manchester Head Start, Haeyc, Wood Memorial Library, Lutz Children’s Museum, Manchester Public Schools, Glastonbury Wellness Center, Shirley Reaback Early Childhood Center, Bright Horizons, Solomon Schechter Day School, and the Jewish Community Center.
MusicMakers is happy to come into your school to provide anything from a one-hour music program to a program consisting of several weeks or months. We will budget your program to fit your educational and financial needs, and will even help you define what kind of program you need.
Also popular are after-school enrichment music programs, usually in alliance with your PTO or Music Friends organizations. In addition, we can provide Etiquette, Netiquette (online etiquette), and Business Etiquette classes to your students of any age.
If you are interested in a school program either ongoing or a one-time experience, please contact us.
